Dog Trouble are again bringing renowned US dog behaviourist, Brian Agnew, to the UK in 2018 for a Lucas Agnew Workshop at the Dog Trouble Behaviour Training and Wellness Centre.

Make a date in your calendar:

28 June – 1 July 2018

Birchin Inhams Farm, Heathlands Road, Wokingham, Berkshire. RG40 3AP

We are fortunate to be returning to Jo Cottrell’s Dog Trouble Behaviour Training and Wellness Centre – see video for superb training facilities including secure paddocks, pack walks on the 100 acre fruit farm, dog scootering, and 2-course lunches daily!

This workshop is an intense, hands-on, trouble-shooting course designed to meet the specific needs of each individual student with their dog.

This 4-day Workshop will include:

  • Individual training for dogs and owners
  • Opportunities to assess and evaluate relationships between dogs and owners
  • Advice on perfecting your training through long line work
  • How to develop effective strategies to address behaviour issues – knowing when to change and when to stay the course
  • Perfecting your use of spacial, leash, tactile and psychological pressure
  • An opportunity for pack walks at the end of each day
  • Dog Scootering
  • An opportunity for audit students to spend some time working with a Dog Trouble centre dog
  • Delicious 2-course lunch and refreshments each day
  • BBQ on Saturday evening
  • Crates and kennels for registered dogs

Whether you are a dog owner, behaviourist, trainer, or dog walker, this workshop will help develop your understanding of dog behaviour and ways to address problems.

Prices for the Workshops are £825 for a Working spot (with a dog), and £675 for Audit places (without dog). Book early (before 1 April) and take advantage of an “early bird” discount price of £775 for a Working spot, and £650 for Audit places. Registrations are limited to 10 Working places with dogs, plus 15 Audit places (without dogs).

Audit students have the advantage of being free to focus on evaluating the behaviour of all the dogs and their relationship with their owner. In addition, we will be allocating time each day for Audit students to have the opportunity to work with one of the dogs at the centre, under the guidance of Jo Cottrell, in order to practice the long line work they have learned.

Places will be confirmed on receipt of your completed Workshop Registration Form together with a deposit of £300 (for both Working and Audit places). Payment details are included on the registration form. Please confirm payment to cahowell_3@hotmail.com.
